Stearns worked in conjunction with Turner Construction to furnish and install the structural steel, metal floor/roof deck and miscellaneous steel for this 4-story, 90,000 square-foot parking garage located in Clackamas, Oregon. Stearns assisted Nishkian Dean, the Engineer-of-Record, with material selection, sizing, framing layouts, and connection design through design development and construction documents.

This 228-stall, free-standing parking garage, located adjacent to the Sunnybrook Office Building, is framed with exposed cellular beams, resulting in an attractive, architectural, steel structure design. Stearns was approached with meeting the challenge of "wrapping metal stairs." Using their strong value-engineering and technological capabilities, Stearns assisted in the design development of wrapping the metal stairs around the elevator core without affecting the integrity of the concrete tolerance, ultimately providing a unique steel stair system.
