Providence Sunnybrook

This unique 2-level, 18,300 sq.ft. parking garage is framed in cellular beams. Stearns provided design assistance, systems selection, fabrication, and an aggressive steel construction schedule. SmartBeams were incorporated into the project not only for their aesthetic appeal, but also due to decreased structure weight advantages and cost efficiencies. In order to avoid interrupting patient access to the medical office building, construction crews were restricted to erect the garage from only one side.
