This 5-story, 88,000 sq.ft. dental school is framed in structural steel and received LEED Gold Certification for its strict use of nontoxic, recyclable materials, air circulation zones and a rooftop garden with outdoor seating.

At the recommendation of R & H Construction, Stearns was brought into the project early to assist the Engineer-of-Record with design development, to provide a sustainable structural steel system and an aggressive construction schedule which positively impacted the project budget and overall completion.

Oregon Dental School received the following rating:
