Golden Plains Credit Union

Replacing the 40-year-old main branch, this two-story, nearly 50,000 sq. ft. building, is home to ten drive-thru lanes with two ATMS, a call center, a large training facility, and six teller dialogue stations. Stearns was brought on board early by Momentum to provide structural design and to furnish and install the entire structural steel package. Stearns’ innovative design strategies brought many sustainable features to this state-of-the-art facility. The mechanical coordination with open-web structural members allowed ceiling heights to be increased to maximize volumes and create aesthetically pleasing work and gathering areas. Stearns’ accelerated scheduling capabilities brought the project to completion on time and within budget.
